Heroes of the Storm will bring out a new set of free-to-play Heroes every Tuesday. Here are your free Heroes for this week. Week of May 27 - June 3rd. Blizzard adds, “Once you accumulate enough experience and reach Level 7, you’ll also unlock an additional weekly hero rotation slot, giving you a total of six free heroes to choose from each week.

Free Hero Rotation
This week’s free hero rotation will feature Malfurion, Valla, Artanis, Gazlowe, Illidan, and Tyrande. If you reach profile level 5 Stitches becomes available, The Butcher opens up at level 7, Lt. Morales unlocks at level 12, and at level 15 Xul.

This week’s sale consist of 1 hero, a skin to match the hero, and another skin. The hero on sale this week is Nazeebo for $4.99. The skin matching this weeks sale hero is the Grimskull Nazeebo Skin for $3.74. Capping things off this week the Cyb’arak Anub’arak skin will also be on sale for $4.99. The sale ends on Monday and Blizzard will have another sale begin the day after.
Heroes Of The Storm Free Hero Rotation
Also the Blackheart’s Doubloon and Lunar Tiger mount will be removed from the shop to make room for the Cloud Serpent and Lunar Dragon.
As a reminder these sales are for real life money only and are not discounted with in game gold.

The free hero rotation or free-to-play hero rotation is a set of 14 Heroes playable for free in the game modes Training, Versus A.I., Quick Match, Unranked Draft and Ranked and in Custom Games, by all players. The rotation changes every Tuesday, usually offering an entirely new selection of heroes. Access to the 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th Hero of the weekly rotation is unlocked when a player reaches level 5, 10, 15 and 20 respectively.

- In the early Technical Alpha, the developers temporarily allowed Raynor as an additional 8th free hero, in order to ease new players' transition out of the tutorial.
- The store closed on September 22, 2014. After that, all Heroes were temporarily free to play until September 29, 2014.
- On December 8, 2015, the weekly rotation was expanded from seven to ten free Hero slots.[1]
- From April 8 to 11, 2016, all Heroes became temporarily free to play to celebrate the Heroes of the Dorm grand final.[2]
- On March 14, 2017, the weekly rotation was expanded from 10 to 14 Hero slots.[3]
- On May 2, 2017, the unlockable hero slots' minimum level requirements were raised from 5, 7, 12 and 15 to 5, 10, 15 and 20 respectively, to correlate with the new hero leveling system.
- In late 2019, Blizzard stopped updating the free Hero rotation posts on the official forums (free Heroes still continue to be marked as such on the official website).
